Projects and concepts
Introduction to Data Science for Service Design
At the Design Research Society (DRS) Conference of 2020, Youet presented the research on Data Science for Service Design.
No more manual paperwork with Psymate
Many psychologists deal with a lot of paperwork and amateurish copy-paste work. This application helps psychologist to take neuropsychological tests and automate the reports.
Ten month project: Service Design and Data Science
This project identifies the opportunities for data science to support the service design process. It evaluates if the techniques meet the designer’s needs and fit the design process with user-centred activities.
Redesign of the Online Leeromgeving to fit in the University ecosystem
The online learning platform (OLO) is a platform for students and teachers to help the students learn and practice their secondary education subject matters. I took care of the redesign and UX of the platform. The goal was to go live and the challenge was to define and implement the MVP.
Banana Family Tree
The caretakers of these banana plants live all over the Netherlands, but they are still in touch with the family history of their bananas. Online, they can read about many generations of their banana plants.
A gaming logo for HyperLAN
Mind maps, brainstorming and a lot of sketching resulted in many logos and ideas. However none of these first results were used.
Something about my process
The feedback interaction of the Design Process Modeler
The holistic double diamond (HDD) is a service design process model. It is similar to the double diamond (DD) and includes a broader timeline than the DD and other models.
Service Design and Data Science workshop
This workshop involved a project that explored how data science can assist service designers. The evaluation workshop used the fictive company Public Transportation Company (PTC). The data science techniques were applied to the PTC case with different variations, and the designers were free to mix the output with methods more familiar to them.
Managing the pages of the Online learning platform
High school students can learn from and practise on the OLO platform. The content contains a network of interactive animations (submodules), exercises and courses. I sketched priority guides to help us combine and organise content and features on the pages.
The Do-it system contains a trigger that stimulates positive experiences throughout daily life. This guide helps the user set up the trigger and learn positive new behaviours, such as talking a daily walk. I designed a guide, while the other team members focused on the trigger itself. The team included me, Evelyn van de Bildt and Marlin Bloemberg.
Do-it: Introduction storyboard
The Do-it system was introduced in a short movie. After brainstorming ideas for the movie, we decided to parody an influencer vlog. The storyboard shows the beginning of the movie. Shots A and B use different camera angles.
